Miram’s sessions are intuitive. Her body and words are a vessel for divine healing and often she channels intuitively the heart medicine that supports one to create and develop their own healing. Miriam awakens the self worth, self value and realignment with ones higher self.
My family ancestry is from Honduras, Central America. I was born and raised in New York City, there I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the City University of New York. As long as I can remember I have had the gift of healing through my hands and an acute sense of intuition. However, as a child these gifts were not spoken of or used. In 1984, I received a spiritual calling through a sweat lodge ceremony facilitated by Uncle Charlie Thom of the Karuk tribe in Mt. Shasta. From there my life as I knew it changed. My first visit to New Mexico was in 1987 to participate in ceremony for the Harmonic Convergence. Then in 1989 I visited Taos, New Mexico for the San Geronimo Feast day. On this day God called me to move to Taos. My new life began on August 31, 1991 when I moved to Taos. Here I raised my two younger children. When they went off to college in 2005, I too decided enter the Master’s degree program in Educational Leadership at the University of New Mexico. At that time my mentor asked me to teach the Sacred Ceremony class at UNM-Taos. My Master’s thesis evolved from this class and from my own spiritual developmental path. When I completed the Master’s degree there was an urgency to continue my education which led me to enter the doctoral program at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I opted to receive a second Master’s degree in Transformative Studies due to lack of money to complete the doctoral dissertation. Over the last three decades my spiritual path has led me to become a ceremonialist in facilitating sweat lodges, vision quests, water blessings and healing ceremonies. Through my own spiritual development I have a great interest in how other’s spiritual development leads them to their self- authorship and authenticity through ritual and ceremony. This is my passion. My commitment to be of service to others by the will of God is how I live my life.

Shadow work: Dive into Shadow with Compassion
Explore death and what needs to die inside of us. We will look at the intelligence of our shadow and the ways in which as we become more engaged in healing practices, the way that it continues to deceive us into not looking at those parts of us that need continued work. Participants will be asked to do some deep personal writing to explore those parts of ourselves that are the hardest to look at. Within the mexica, azteca traditions notions of death are considered an everyday part of life. How do we in this sacred time, where death is surrounding us, look into the parts of ourselves that we fear. The parts that we need to let go of. The parts of us that lie to ourselves. That convince ourselves that we are okay. The parts of the ego and pride that do not allow us to grow. The parts of us that do not allow us to grow towards our light. How do we allow the onsetting emotions that feel overwhelming to become just part of our spiritual death, spiritual growth. In the process with our collective consciousness speak to how to be in relationship with this shadow self with compassion.

It was a journey of many years before she started to look deeper into reclaiming the healing practices of the ancestral traditions that she came from and hopes to share with all people of European decent to remember to honor their own ancestors, to connect to the land and the people that are currently practicing and keeping the context of European tribal healing traditions alive today. She hopes to create a safe space to bridge the gap generational knowledge and cultural similarities and healing tools to encourage self-healing and community healing.
Howard BadHand
Howard Bad His a Lakota Sundance Chief, Intuitive healer, medicine man, 4th generation singer, and author of the book Native American Healing A Lakota Tradition.
"I am a fourth generation singer in my family, and have been that all of my life. I am a lover and not a warrior.
I have been a singer, a composer of sun dance songs, an announcer, a ritualist, healer and intercessor at many different sun dances since 1977. I have seen its revival and its evolution since 1966. I recently had a vision in which all of the medicine people I have encountered in my life were in an Inipi with me and they all told me to finish this dance. What this meant to me was that we must begin and finish this part of the sun dance which is to bring people to peace. The revival of the sun dance was meant to wake the Lakota people up to the path of peace by the humiliation of the warrior's ego. It seems we have done enough of that now, and it is time to do the other part of the dance which is to bring peace. That is the reason, with Ervin Keeswood's blessing and honoring of me, we are beginning and we will finish the High Star Sun Eagle International Sun Dance For Peace."

Malia Roe is a practicing indigenous pagan who walks the six-fold path. She is a mixed-blood of Indiana Miami, Eastern Shawnee, and Euroamerican (Welsh, English, Swedish, French) ancestry. As a practitioner, she draws deeply from her lifelong relationship with the invisible world (spirits, ancestors, energy), one that began in her childhood and has been nurtured through a long line of engagements and teachings with seers, wise women, cunning folk, herbalists, and medicine people from a diverse set of cultural and ancestral traditions. From these teachings and experiences, she has wildcrafted a spiritual practice that honors all of her ancestors. In her teachings, she shares that wildcrafted approach with others in ways that supports their own journeys of self-awareness and empowerment but that avoids disrespect and appropriation. In addition to thirty years as a practicing intuitive advisor and life counselor, Malia belongs to a longhouse ceremonial community in the Great Lakes and is a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD) as well as the Ancient Order of Druids in America and the Sisterhood of Avalon. She is a certified Life & Mindfulness Coach, a certified Master Herbalist, an OBOD-trained Celebrant and legal ceremonial officiant, and a member of the Native Roots Medicine Collective. She is also an active member of the Taos Healing & Reconciliation Project and a trained HRI facilitator. In her work life, she's a Professor of American Indian & Indigenous Studies.
